The Weight play what they call "Heavy Rhythm & Roll" - and the four-piece hailing from Austria's capital Vienna definitely deliver a thundering load of exactly that in their new video "Rich Man's Pride". The clip illustrates a tragic love story and watching it you can tell it must have been a great project to work with all the artists involved, such as choreographer Enrique GasaValga. You can watch it below.
You can also read several posts related to the majestic sound of Tobias Jussel (Vocals & Organ), Michael Böbel (Guitar), Andreas Vetter (Drums) and Patrick Moosbrugger (Bass) - they're all in German though. So why not take a look at the pictures I took at their concerts in Dornbirn, Weingarten and Biberach? Or see what Google Translate can do with my review of their self-titled full length debut album that also includes "Rich Man's Pride". I also did a piece on the Weight in the "Schwäbische Zeitung", a regional daily newspaper based in Southern Germany.
And of course a must-watch: Their Video for "Trouble", a mindblowing tribute to several decades of Rock'n'Roll.
